Je recrute pour mon client, fintech en forte croissance et à dimension internationale, un Financial Regulatory Accountant H/F. Ce poste en CDI est basé à Paris.
The role :
Reporting to the Finance Manager in our Paris office, the Financial Accountant will be a technical accounting expert for the group and play a key role in the preparation of the group's regulatory financial reporting and French financial statements.
Your responsibilities:
Essential:
-Preparing French statutory financial statements in accordance with the PGC (bonus points for PCEC experience).
-Preparation of entries to convert IFRS to FR GAAP.
-Providing support during the Company's external audits and interacting with auditors.
-Working with financial controllers to ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting for regulatory reporting.
-Maintain and strengthen internal controls over regulatory and French statutory reporting.
Bonus points for:
-Regulatory financial reporting for licensed entities, ensuring reporting is compliant with rules prescribed by the FCA, ACPR, and US state authorities.

-Research and resolve accounting issues including evaluation and implementation of new pronouncements to ensure reporting compliance.
-Delivering process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our accounting, regulatory reporting, and overall control environment.
Your profile:
Essential:
-Experience in a similar position or prior audit experience in a Big 4 firm or company.
-You are a financial accountant with demonstrable knowledge of regulatory reporting, French GAAP (PCG and PCEC), and IFRS standards.
-Ability to work in an international environment in both French and English.
-A self-starter who can work independently to identify and resolve accounting issues.
-You have proven skills in analysing processes with the ability to simplify and automate to improve operations.
-In addition to your technical expertise, you are an excellent communicator, able to explain complex concepts to non-experts. You are collaborative in your approach.
-You have integrity and an analytical approach.

-Experience in fintech/ payments.
-Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements for payment service providers.
