Description

• To work out of the Houston office, hybrid.
• The ideal candidate would be experienced in insurance coverage issues for one or more of the following lines of insurance: first-party property, CGL, EPL, D&O and professional lines (E&O), and capable of handling litigation related to insurance coverage. The firm is open to candidates who want to focus on providing coverage opinions only and not be involved in litigation. 
• The firm is open to candidates who do not have insurance coverage experience but have experience with insurance defense matters, including litigating personal injury, other torts, property damage and/or construction matters. The ideal candidate in this scenario would have a desire to learn insurance coverage, particularly first-party property insurance.

Requirements

TX state law license. Any other state license is a plus.

3+ years of experience.

The ideal candidate would be a mid-level associate, although we are open to individuals who are senior level associate, “of counsel” or “partner” level with no portable book of business as long as they have the requisite experience.
