Description
Review and process FAFSA applications and supporting documentation
Perform verification of student eligibility in accordance with federal guidelines
Assist in awarding and adjusting federal financial aid packages
Counsel students and families on federal aid programs (Pell Grants, Direct Loans, Work-Study)
Resolve discrepancies and manage incomplete files
Maintain accurate records utilizing internal software: PowerFaids
Support operations, including phone, emails and walk-ins
Requirements
Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
1+ year experience in financial aid
Knowledge of PowerFaids
Familiarity with FAFSA and federal Title IV regulations
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent customer service and communication abilities
