A leading asset manager seeks a Fund Accountant professional to perform end-to-end fund accounting, NAV control, and operational execution. It is an ownership position with exposure to process improvement, risk control, and new product launches.
Major responsibilities:
Core operations role responsible for end-to-end fund accounting, NAV control, and operational execution
High ownership position with exposure to process improvement, risk control, and new product launches
Own daily and monthly fund accounting processes, including cash/position reconciliation, trade booking, and P&L calculation
Take full accountability for NAV calculation, valuation, and price publication, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance
Partner with Settlement and internal teams on trade lifecycle management, corporate actions, and cash flow monitoring
Maintain strong operational controls, proactively identifying and mitigating risks
Drive process standardization and workflow optimization across fund operations
Lead and support fund audit activities, including audit coordination, confirmations, and financial reporting deliverables
Contribute to automation initiatives and system enhancements, improving scalability and efficiency
Support new product launches, including operational setup and workflow design
Deliver ad-hoc operational and project tasks as required
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years in fund accounting / fund operations / middle office / fund administration / audit
Experience in ETF and/or Hong Kong MPF operations preferred
Strong understanding of NAV processes, reconciliation, and fund accounting controls
Familiarity with trade lifecycle (settlement to accounting)
Exposure to multi-asset products (equities, fixed income, derivatives, FX, OTC)
Ability to review fund financial statements independently
High attention to detail and accuracy under high-volume workflows
Strong ownership mindset with ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Effective cross-team communication and collaboration
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
CPA preferred
Strong Excel skills; VBA / Python a plus
Experience with Geneva or equivalent systems advantageous
